Make sure you Sports Waiver form in addition to the Physical form along with $15 cash. The forms and directions are on the website as well, CLICK HERE.

Camp is open to any boy or girl ages 5 years old to 16 years old.
When is the camp?
Mon. to Thur. June 23-26, 2025 - 8am-Noon (Early drop off 7:30am)
What is the purpose of the camp?
The purpose is to develop the basketball skills, fundamentals, and team play.
Who runs the camp?
The camp is run by the Montclair High School coaching staff and varsity players.
What is the cost of the camp?
The cost is $85 per player. Early sign up discount: before May 16 the cost is $75 per player. Sibling discount: Take $5 off each additional child, if you have more than one child attending the camp.
What do the players get?
Four days of basketball instruction and a camp t-shirt.

Please CLICK HERE to register!]]><![CDATA[Montclair Hires Tony Gomez]]>Fri, 11 Apr 2025 17:18:16 GMThttps://www.montclairathletics.net/news/montclair-hires-tony-gomezI am thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Tony Gomez as our new Head Football Coach, whose extensive experience and dedication to both education and athletics make him an exceptional addition to our team. After a thorough and careful selection process, we are confident that his leadership will positively impact our football program and students.

Our new coach brings over 19 years of experience in teaching Special Education and coaching. A proud graduate of Tennessee Tech University and Pacific High School in San Bernardino, he has recently contributed to back-to-back Citrus 4 League Championships at Colony High School in 2022 and 2023. As Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach, he played a pivotal role in leading the team to a Division 9 CIF Championship in 2021. His commitment to developing young athletes is evident in his success in coaching multiple All-League and All-CIF athletes, including two consecutive Citrus 4 League Defensive Players of the Year and an All-CIF Defensive Player of the Year. Above all, he takes great pride in helping develop young people into responsible, contributing members of society. Coach Gomez is excited to be part of our Montclair family!

Please join me in welcoming our new Head Football Coach to our school community. We will host a meet and greet meeting on Monday, April 14th, at 6PM in our school cafeteria. You will have an opportunity to meet our new coach, learn about our program, and connect about ways to support our team.

]]><![CDATA[Please support this great event!]]>Thu, 11 Jan 2024 01:46:04 GMThttps://www.montclairathletics.net/news/please-support-this-great-eventPlease join us this Thursday, January 11 as the Montclair Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams in collaboration with KidCare International invite everyone to come out and support this local food bank by attending the two Montclair Varsity basketball games this Thursday.

Admission to both games is made possible by bringing two canned goods for the KidCare International food bank to the Montclair High School Gym. This will cover the cost of admission to both varsity games.

The first game tip-offs with the CIF 7th-ranked MHS Girls Varsity team (14-4) starting at 4:45pm. Next, the MHS Boys Varsity team (11-9) plays at 6:30pm with both teams playing league rival Baldwin Park.

Fans bringing at least two canned good food items will be granted access to both games for free while also supporting a very worthy cause.

The Montclair Band and Cheer will also be performing at the two games as well.

Please come out to support this worthy event while we welcome everyone back to MHS in 2024, let’s pack the gym and show our support to our teams and KidCare International!

The gym repairs will not be done in time for us to hold our camp this summer.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, but unfortunately this was out of our control.

We plan to resume our camp again next summer (2024), we hope you will join us. Check back on our website for information www.montclairathletics.net

If you have already signed up and paid for camp this summer, please be on the look out for a refund to your credit card in the next few days.

The game will be on Saturday January 29th at 12:30pm vs. Chaffey at the Toyota Arena (formerly Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario).

When you buy a ticket, the ticket will get you into our game, but it will also get you into the Agua Caliente Clippers game that same night at 7pm.
